Here is a picture of the kids at the zoo on Saturday. We had beautiful weather in the 70s. CJ and Ceirnan had a great time- although I wish I had taken this picture when we got there instead of as we started to leave. CJ liked the monkey's the best this trip and we all enjoyed a great picnic lunch. Here is the update on Ceirnan's hand. I'm not sure how much everyone actually knows so I'm kind of summarizing it a bit. Ceirnan was born with a few issues on her right arm and hand. The doctors assume that she got her arm stuck above her head and couldn't get it out of that position. It created some pressure wounds that have mostly healed up and it also caused a radial dislocation. At this point, there is no way to fix the radial dislocation, but it doesn't cause her any pain and she's lucky enough to have full range of motion. It also limited or destroyed (not sure yet) the growth of the nerve and muscle on the top of her arm. Therefore , she can't...

We just finished with a fabulous weekend with Aunt Cece. It was really rainy so we really didn't get to do too much. We did have a great time at Chuck E Cheese on Friday night though. The rest of the weekend we stayed in and played games. It was a blast. Here are pics of the weekend before when we got the opportunity to go down to the beach including Ceirnan's first look at the ocean. It was a great time.

CJ and I have been having a great time at home when Daddy goes to school or goes out. We play pretend camping or dress-up or just spend time reading. Ceirnan likes to join in on the fun too. One of CJ's favorites is the " CJ and Ceirnan Show". CJ dances and Ceirnan bounces and Mama sings. He is just so cute. CJ has grown like crazy in the last month. He's pants all became highwaters so we had to pick him up some new ones this weekend when we were out. His problem is he's really too skinny for 3Ts, but he needs the length. I'll probably be doing some tailoring this week. He has lost that last little bit of " toddlerhood " and has definitely moved into being a true kid. Ceirnan is doing great. She is growing like a weed. We received some disappointing news this week at the elbow specialist. He said her radial dislocation cannot be fixed. Apparently, it's something that is more common than we knew and that she will just live with it. When ...

CJ and Ceirnan have so much fun together! These pictures are from Valentine's Day. I could not get them both to smile in the same pic and since I don't have Photoshop I decided to attach them both. The other picture is from my first day back at work. I only cried a little. Ceirnan just lights up when she hears CJ's voice and CJ spends most of the day kissing his sister. We find it funny because often you can tell that she's thinking "Alright already, you've kissed me a zillion times today", but because its CJ she tolerates it. I just can't wait to see them continue to grow and play over the next few years!

I don't have a lot of news to report today. The pics above are from Jess De Feo's 21st birthday that we went to this weekend. It was fun to get together with the De Feo family and see some of Jessi's friends that I haven't seen in a long time. It's hard to believe she's 21 now. CJ had a great time playing with Daniel. Ceirnan did pretty good too. She just smiles as she's passed around. Casey and I enjoyed being around other adults and listening to the good music. Last week was a big adjustment for us as Case went back to school and I went back to work. It looks like we'll make it though. Ceirnan tends to get cranky in the afternoon and just wants to snuggle with me as soon as I get through the door. CJ has been great! He helps with Ceirnan and for some reason has started going to bed early. I think he just likes getting Mama time because we always read 4-5 stories. No new news to report about Ceirnan's arm. We go back to the doctor on March 5th. Hop...

Just a very quick note as I am back to work today. The kids are doing well. I will send out a bunch of new pics soon. I am back to work as of today. It was definitely hard to leave this morning, but I know that Case will do just great. Casey starts back to school tonight. It's strange that we are back in the cycle of someone being gone all the time. He has class every night during the week this semester except for Fridays. CJ had his first birthday party to go to yesterday and he had a great time. I'll be blogging more about this on my other blog soon. It was an interesting experience . The picture above is what CJ calls babysitting. He is very good at it! Ceirnan is doing great and is just such a happy baby. She laughs and smiles all day long. CJ is a particular favorite for her and she always lights up when he comes near her. She's been doing a lot more playing on her play mat, but still hates to have tummy time.

Hello all! We're back to blogging. We took a short break while trying to adjust to our new two child home. Then we had some major issues with the computer. Anyway, we are back. Things here are going well. As you can see by the pictures, we have two healthy and happy kids. Life couldn't be sweeter. Okay...maybe a little more sleep would make it sweeter. I can't begin to try and catch up on everything that has happened in the last month. It's been a whirlwind. The above picture of CJ was taken during his holiday party at school. He loves preschool and was really bummed during winter break because it wasn't open. He was so excited to go back on January 4 th . They are very good to him and even put up a sign on the bulletin board in the hall announcing that he is now a big brother. He felt very important. Speaking of brotherhood, CJ just loves being a brother. He spends all day wanting to kiss and hug Ceirnan and he shows her off everywhere we go. C...
