Despite missing Mama's cornbeef and cabbage, we had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast, went on a beautiful country drive, visited the local Irish store for some new gear and a quick Irish coffee, went for a stroll through the Philadelphia Zoo, and ended our evening at a local brewpub with live music and amazing young Irish dancers. It was a great family day. Case and I managed to get in a pint or two and the kids were thrilled by everything. CJ even got up and danced a solo with a little urging from Mama and Daddy. He is planning on starting Irish dancing lessons this Spring. Here are some pics of our adventures.
Hello and Happy Holidays from the City of Brotherly Love! Its almost New Year's resolution time and one of mine is to maintain a blog for all our of friends and family who don't get to see our little guy on a daily basis (and for those of you that do too). CJ is ready for Christmas- although Santa is not his favorite as you can see. I'm not sure who is worse at peeking at packages though, CJ or Casey. We were too excited to wait so we've had a Christmas tree up since the weekend after Thanksgiving. We kept the unbreakable ornaments on the lower part of the tree, which has been good since he likes to take them off and throw them to his daddy. He's so smart and observant. I'm just amazed by him. He loves to learn and seems (to me) to be very mechanically minded since he can unscrew or take apart anything you put in front of him.
